Evaluation designs concept.
All of listed designs concept can be use as drive train system for formula SAE racing car. Each design concept will produce the different output in order to transmitted power from engine to wheel. To drive in selecting the suitable design concept where more closed related with other sub system of formula SAE racing car, our group makes some evaluating activities and the result or feedback from each group will can help us to make suitable selection of the design concept.

1. Power produce from engine will transmit directly to the shaft and wheel.
2. Small power lose will be occur when engine operating.

Advantages
1. Easy to maintenance and replacement.
2. Small power lose will be occur when engine operating.
Disadvantages
1. Noise of chain and sprocket when operating.
2. Lubricant of chain required.
3. Chain required tensioning.
4. Limited space to mount primary sprocket.
5. Limited space to mount secondary sprocket.

DRIVETRAIN
Power train is a main component of machines or various types of vehicles that is a
requirement for it to operates and functional. The purpose of power train is to transmit the engine power to drive wheel or output shaft of a machines or vehicles. It also does four
basic jobs which are:-
• Its connects and disconnects power from engine to output shaft
• Selecting the speed ratio of operation
• Its provides a means of reversing
• Also equalizes power to the drive wheel for turning
